Surfer, traveller and awesome human being Dominga Valdes

Can you give us a quick intro about yourselves? My name is Dominga, 25 years old and from different places. Haha. Dutch mom, Chilean dad, born in Spain and I’ve grown up in different countries. It’s always hard for me to answer where I’m exactly from. For me home is not just one country but several. I love surf, travel, my friends and family, meet new people, cuddle animals, good food and spend time on the beach.   When did you hear about The Bamboo Brush Society? Kaat DM

We met Kaat through social media. We are big fans of her fantastic outdoor photography, and we were overwhelmed by her infectious enthusiasm. So we are very happy that she took the time to answer a few questions and immediately joined the society. Can you tell us who you are and what you do for a living? I’m Kaat and I take a lot of pictures. After graduating from the ‘Narafi’ School of Arts, I've been trying to find a way to merge my passion for the great outdoors and extreme sports with my career as a dedicated photographer. I quickly realized that those two things didn’t have to exist independently, so I've been wandering from New Zealand...

Antwerp based photographer Wouter Struyf

On our trip to Scotland (just before Christmas) we got to know Wouter Struyf (@fooliage) and we are excited that Wouter joined the society. He was so kind to answer a few questions.   Can you tell us who you are and what you do for a living?  My Name is Wouter Struyf. Apparently people categorise me as a photographer, but I always correct them by saying I ‘m a biologist. Although i have spent my time in school studying plants/Animals/ecosystems/... and all other things that make this planet run I never earned any money with that master degree so people may be right if you look at it that way. Since graduating from University, all I have done is shooting photos,...
