Can you tell us who you are and what you do for a living?

I’m a professional freeskier from Sheffield, UK. I’ve been a professional skier since I left school at 16 and moved to the Alps. I started off competing but now I mainly film, I go fast, jump off things and go upside down and like to travel via helicopter.

Why do you support The Bamboo Brush Society?

I try to be as eco friendly as possible but with my lifestyle and all the traveling that comes with it it is very hard. So I think small changes like this can help promote to keep the planet clean.

What do you think of the Bamboo toothbrush

I like it, it’s simple, it’s light and it’s at home in the city or in your camping gear up in the mountains.

As a pro freestyle skier you get to travel a lot. What’s the best spot you have brushed your teeth?

The best place I’ve brushed my teeth would have to be camping in Lofoten, Norway.  It’s a beautiful and so remote, we were on a camping trip in the snow, melting the snow for water to clean your teeth turns into a bit of a mission when your gas is cold so it was a mission to do the simplest tasks!

If you would not have become a freestyle skier what would you have become ?

I think I would have become a teacher or a carpenter maybe.  I like to visually see what I have done or see improvements. So seeing kids learn or seeing your work at the end of a project is important to me.

What’s your best travel story?

There are so many, mainly involving people. Generosity goes a long way in life and is valued in every culture. It doesn’t matter if you can’t speak the language, giving and helping speaks for itself what ever country you are in.

What is the last film you watched?

Hunt for the Wilderpeople. It’s a film from New Zealand, it was amazing - it was similar to some Wes Anderson films.

My friend Murray and his dog!

How do you get inspired ?

Music, nature and visually, so watching other people ski gets me pumped for a day on the mountain.

What would you tell yourself when you would be 18 again?

Nothing, otherwise I might not end up where I am now!

If you can go on a trip tomorrow to any place in the world, where would you go?

Scotland, it doesn’t sound too exotic but it’s amazing and was my last holiday destination.
