Super stoked to be teaming up with BOARDX, the leading brand in board sports, travel, and active lifestyle. You can now get our brushes at all their surf camps. In this weekend’s interview, we sit down with BOARDX for a chat.
Can you give us a quick intro about who you are and what your company BoardX stands for?
BOARDX is a leading company that specializes in boardsports, travel and active lifestyle. Originated in 2001 from the spirits of passionate surfers and snowboarders it has grown to become the number one surf agency in Belgium.
When did you hear about The Bamboo Brush Society for the first time?
We’ve been introduced by this amazing projects by one of our crew members (and O’Neill team member) Julie Lauwers. We immediately fell in love with TBBS’s philosophy. As we spend most of our time in the mountains and the ocean, striving to be as environmentally friendly as possible is our first priority.
What do you think of the Bamboo toothbrush?
The design is beau-ti-ful! And of course, the natural feeling is great. We love the touch of wood in the morning!
What is according to you the best spot to brush your teeth around the globe?
That would be on our beloved hill in Zarautz from where we check the conditions and have an amazing view over the bay, the waves and the sunset!
Since last year you have a very exciting new project along the french coast. Can you tell a bit more about this concept and where you want to take it to?
Ah, our precious ‘Pine Beach Paradise’! Ever since we started organizing our surfcamps in France and Spain, we’ve been dreaming of having our own site where we introduce its visitors to our favourite sports. And so the quest came to an end when we found a magical place, squeezed between French pinewoods and the Atlantic ocean. Since last summer it has become a place full of adventures, fun and endless summers. You’re welcome to come by and ride a wave, get some air on the skateramp or just enjoy the relaxing moments while glamping at the resort!
